Cody Daniel earned his economics degree at the University of Texas and has served the lending industry since 2002. He continued his education on the job, becoming a Todd Duncan-certified mortgage planner, and attending The Summit Training Seminar, with the top 10% of the mortgage industry. Since then he has been recognized as a Top Mortgage Loan Officer in Austin in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016 by the Austin Business Journal. He has also been recognized by the Scotsman Guide as Top 1% of Originators in the nation. The Daniel Group at Capstar Lending has an intentional, strategic process for discovering client’s long- and short-term financial goals, and provide financing that supports those objectives by also having steadfast dedication to their clients.

Cody has served on the board of Young Texans Against Cancer since 2007, hosts an annual charity golf tournament, and was a finalist for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Man of the Year in 2011. His passions are his family and friends, philanthropy, traveling the world, and UT sports. Cody and his wife Melissa have three beautiful children; his daughter Dylan, age 7 and boy-girl twins Jackson and Kyle, age 4.
